When a horrific and inexplicable death occurs at Space World, a new theme park on Hampstead Heath, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and UNIT are called in to investigate. The Doctor is highly suspicious. Just who controls the Parakon Corporation, the shadowy organisation behind the running of the park? What is 'Experience Reality'? And what are the limits of its awesome powers? First broadcast on BBC Radio in 1993, this full-cast adventure was written by former Doctor Who producer Barry Letts, and stars Jon Pertwee, Elisabeth Sladen and Nicholas Courtney.

This fulsome tale of ghosts, gangsters, synchronicity, and the lust for power, broadcast in six episodes shortly before the lead actor's death, ably represents the state of radio theater. Jon Pertwee, in his last performance as the Doctor, is both gentle and mercurial, and Elizabeth Sladen brings spunk and energy to a role whose characterization moves with the speed of plot. But it's Nicholas Courtney's clipped British baritone that dominates the production in his voicing of the multicultural menagerie of supporting players. While the story's exposition and action are clumsily rendered, the pseudo-adversarial camaraderie between the main characters, familiar to those who loved the program in the midseventies, makes this adventure in nostalgia worthwhile.
