Martha Frick Symington Sanger is a great-granddaughter of the controversial steel tycoon and preeminent art collector Henry Clay Frick (184‹1919). Noted biographer of this nineteenth- and early twentieth-century titan, Ms. Sanger has spent approximately two decades researching Frick, his family, and his art collection. She offers provocative, fresh insights on these subjects and in the last several years has given over one hundred slide lectures. Among others, the Frick Collection in New York, the Frick Art & Historical Center in Pittsburgh, the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, as well as Great Britain's Dulwich Art Gallery, Leeds City Art Gallery, and the Victoria & Albert Museum have hosted her presentations.
